How much will I receive for my vehicle?

Our prices take into account the age, make and model of your car together with value of scrap metal* and any re-usable parts. Quotes are guaranteed once they have been accepted (subject to the car being supplied complete and intact
including 4 wheels and tyres).
Are there any additional costs?

How do I get paid for my car?

Do I need to provide any identification?
A. Under new legislation from 1st October 2013, you must provide photo ID showing your name, date of birth and address when you scrap your car. The ATF will need to retain a copy of your identification for their records.
A photocard driving licence is the preferred form of identification, as it shows your name, photo, date of birth and address. However, other forms of ID are accepted, including:
– A valid UK passport.
– A valid passport from a European Economic Area state.
– A valid UK biometric immigration document.
Do you collect on weekends?
A. Yes we collect 7 days a week, even evenings.
Do I need to have the registration document for my car?
A. It is preferred but not essential.
Will we haggle on collection?
A. No the price we quote is the price you will get every time!
Do you give me a set time for collection?
A. Yes, we arrange a collection time with you. We can either give you an AM or PM slot, or to ‘hour windows’, such as between 9am-10am.
My car is still at a garage?
A. We can collect your car from most locations including garages, storage compounds, or your work place.

Do I have to inform the DVLA?
A. Our recovery driver will complete and leave Section 9 of the V5C (or section 4 on the new V5C/logbooks issued in April 2019) (yellow section) with you which you will need to sign and send off to the DVLA.
What if I have taken parts of my car?
A. You need to make us aware of the parts you have removed before you accept a quote.
Can I get paid in CASH?
A. Due to the SMDA 2013 (scrap metal dealers act 2013) scrap metal dealers and car breakers can no longer pay cash for SCRAP vehicles. However, if your vehicle is NOT scrap, we can pay you in cash.
